2011 USRA Division 1 Rules Proposals
Following are the 2011 USRA Division 1 Rules proposals, to be voted on by current 2011 USRA Division 1 members:
Spec 15
Proposal Number 1
Spec 15: Run in spray glue.
Spec 15

Spec 15: Change Spec 15 to Spec-12 using handout GP-12 motors.
GP-12
Proposal Number 3
GP-12: Change to single driver classification (no Amateur/Pro split).
International 15
Proposal Number 4
International 15: Change to single driver classification (no Amateur/Pro split).
Cobalt 12
Proposal Number 5
Cobalt 12: Change to single driver classification (no Amateur/Pro split).
Group 27
Proposal Number 6
Group 27: Change to single driver classification (no Amateur/Pro split).
Geezer
Proposal Number 7
Geezer: Eliminate the Geezer Class.
General
Proposal Number 8
General: Change the dates for the Wing-Car National Championship Race from between July 16 and August 15 to Event will begin and finish in the month of August.

The 2011 USRA Division 1 online voting ballot is now online, for voting on 8 proposals for rules changes in the USRA Division 1 Rules.
All current 2011 USRA Division 1 members will be receiving an email with the invitation to vote which will include a link to the online voting ballot.
You must be a current USRA 2011 Division 1 member to vote.
As a current 2011 USRA Division 1 member you are invited and encouraged to vote on these proposals that will effect the rules and race formats for next year’s 2012 USRA Division 1 National Championships.
Please only vote once. When you submit your vote, you will see a confirmation at the bottom of the voting page. All ballots and votes will be checked against the 2011 USRA Division 1 active member list for verification of eligibility.
You must fill out your name, email address, and your USRA membership number. In case you do not have your USRA card handy, your membership number is the number following your name & email at the top of the email that was sent to all current USRA Div 1 members.
The 8 proposals are being published publicly here online, but only current USRA Division 1 members are being sent the direct link to the actual online voting ballot. All ballots will be verified against the membership list.
Voting will be open from today – Tuesday October 4, 2011, and will be closed at midnight on Tuesday October 18th, 2011 (end of the day, all time zones). This should allow sufficient time for all members to place their votes.
Results will be verified and tabulated, then published online.
